D-3400 Dancer Controller
The Montalvo D-3400 dancer controller was developed for unwind applications that employ a dancer arm. It is useful in the processing of imperfect rolls or in applications that experience dramatic tension variations. The Progressive PID regulator offers wide regulating range as well as electronic dampening of the dancer to ensure accuracy. New features include: Transferable memory card, RS-232 interface to computer or PLC and “on board” DeviceNet, Profibus DP, CANopen and Modbus fieldbus connections.
Dancer Controller Options:
- DTI-3400 Dancer Controller with Tension Indication
- Functionally identical to the D-3400 but has a large analog tension meter
- Larger IP54 enclosure
- CB64 circuit board
- Used by all 3400 series tension controllers
- For OEMs or end users who might provide their own enclosures
